If you’ve avoided the product key prompt and now need to find your product key, you can use the Windows 10 installer to retrieve it. Open the “Windows 10 Installer” program on your computer. This is a program that allows you to access your Windows 10 installation files to retrieve your product key. (Note: If you’re installing Windows 10 on a new machine, there is no “Windows 10 Installer” program. You should install Windows 10 normally, and you will be given the option to find your product key.)
The “Windows 10 Installer” program can be found in the “Windows 10” folder in your “Start” menu. Select “Windows 10”, select “Windows 10 Installation Files”, and click “Next”. Click “Advanced”, click “Open Installation”, and click “Next”. Select “Retrieve product key” from the drop-down menu, enter any additional information if requested, and click “Retrieve”. If the program is successful, you should see your product key on the screen.
Check Your Email for a Welcome Message With Your Product key
Depending on which version of Windows 10 you installed, you might have received an email message with your product key. You can check this email to find your cheap windows 11 product key if you need it. Your product key will be listed in the email. Alternatively, you might have received a welcome message that makes finding your product key as simple as clicking a button. If you’re positive you checked your email and didn’t find a welcome message, try searching your email account’s spam and junk folders. The email might have accidentally been sent there.

If you’ve lost your product key and you don’t have access to any of your emails, you can find your product key by looking at your Windows 10 installation media. You can find the product key printed on the packaging for your Windows 10 installation media or printed on a label that’s affixed to the disc itself. Alternatively, you can open the Windows 10 installation program, select “Advanced”, and click “Print Installation Details”. This will print out a list with your product key and other details about your Windows 10 installation.

Microsoft Has Made Finding Your Original Install Disc Difficult
If you’re installing Windows 10 on your original computer, you might not have access to your installation disc. That doesn’t mean you can’t find your product key, however. First, make sure you’ve logged in to your Microsoft account and that Windows 10 is activated. Then, open the “Windows 10” menu and select “Activation”. Select “Find your product key” and follow the instructions. You can also use the “Retrieve Installed Product key” tool on the Microsoft activation website.
